3 new videos off Lil Wayne's upcoming album!

Related to out previous post we are now showing you three brand new Lil Wayne's videos. Enjoy!

"6 Foot 7 Foot" is the first single off Tha Carter IV. The track is the first single Lil Wayne has recorded since his release from prison on November 4, 2010, though it's the second song on which he has appeared since his prison release, after the final version of Birdman's single "Fire Flame", on which he had 2 verses.

"John" is the second single from his upcoming album Tha Carter IV. The song features rapper Rick Ross, and has peaked at number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100. "John" was released on March 24, 2011 on iTunes. The song uses the hook from Rick Ross's song "I'm Not a Star" from his album Teflon Don. The song title refers to musician John Lennon. It was produced by Polow Da Don, Rob Holladay and Ayo The Producer.

"How to Love" is the third single from his album. The song features a slow, "stripped down" production from Noel "Detail" Fisher with LaMar and LaNelle Seymour a/k/a Drum Up, based largely around the sounds of an acoustic guitar and drums.

Lil Wayne's "The Carter IV" is out!

The Carter IV is out. Unofficially. And if illegal downloads counted toward moved units, there's a very good chance its headed toward gold at this very moment.
Speaking of gold status, Watch The Throne recently earned a gold plaque -- nearly two weeks after its release. Considering there was no leak up to the night of its release, many expected it would sell alot more, alot sooner.
Which leads to our question of the day: Considering that The Carter 3 hit plat in a week despite a massive leak, is there still a chance Wayne's latest album could commercially crush the Jay-Z/Kanye project?
The Carter IV has an impressive list of guest features, a wide range of producers and the legacy of the Carter series on its side. While the hype can't compare to WTT, positive word of mouth following the leak may help push it past gold within the first week. Below you can hear two of the tunes off the album:

New Tune: Aaliyah - Are You That Somebody? (Unofficial Hudson Mohawke Remix)

Believe it or not, it's been a decade since the tragic death of Aaliyah. To honor her memory, Scottish producer Hudson Mohawke has put together an unofficial remix of one of her biggest hits, "Are You That Somebody?", with the simple note, "RIP Aaliyah." He's also added his signature touches in the bass and fuzz department by adding some bass and pushing the tempo forward with some dance grooves and rushing synthesizers. It doesn't detract from the original version, though, and HudMo hasn't manipulated Aaliyah's vocals. Check it out below:

New Video: Wiz Khalifa - No Sleep

Wiz Khalifa released the official video for “No Sleep,” the latest single off his gold-certified album Rolling Papers. In the Colin Tilley-directed clip, the laid-back rapper wakes up after a wild night of partying with his friends and girlfriend Amber Rose, who makes a cameo. Party all day, party all night.

New Video: Mary J. Blige - The Living Proof

The Living Proof

Mary J. Blige weathers the storm on “The Living Proof,” the theme song from the upcoming film The Help. The survivors’ anthem, produced by The Underdogs, is an understated piano-driven number written about Aibileen (Viola Davis), the main character who plays a maid living in Mississippi during the 1960s.
To speak to so many women with this song, it means a lot to me,” explained the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, whose album My Life II: The Journey Continues is due this September.
